An Aussie actor has spoken of how credit cards have proven to be an effective tool.
Rhys Muldoon, who has appeared in The Secret Life of Us and the BAFTA-nominated Lockie Leonard, reveals to the Age's Business Day supplement that he feels credit cards can be "great" and "helpful".
But he also appears to be aware of the dangers that can come with credit cards, as in response to the Business Day interview Muldoon also believes they can be "a poor investment" and "work of the devil".
However, he asserts: "I do like them though, they make me feel quite 'adult'," adding they can be of particular assistance as money can be accessed quickly in case of an emergency.
And although he used to be a large spender, Muldoon - who appeared in the 2008 ABC1 film Valentine's Day - claims that he now concentrates more on saving money.
Meanwhile, Channel Seven tennis commentator John Alexander told the Sydney Morning Herald last month that credit cards have been in his wallet ever since 1976, the year he began playing the sport professionally.
