The product is aimed at those who earn more than $50,000 per annum.

Woolworths and Qantas have joined forces to launch a new Aussie credit card.

The product - entitled the Everyday Rewards Qantas card and aimed at those earning more than $50,000 per annum - offers frequent flyer rewards with the airline, the Australian Associated Press reports.

And those with an existing Everyday Money credit card from the supermarket chain can benefit as rewards include vouchers usable at Woolworths stores.

Peter Burgan, customer engagement general manager of the group, told journalists: "It is the next step in the process of taking what is one of the biggest loyalty programs in Australia to the next level."

Woolworths head of group financial services Dhun Karai said the organisation now has a full range of credit cards.

But those looking to take out one of the products may like to heed the advice of Bina Brown, writing for the Sydney Morning Herald, who noted that people should ensure they plan ahead before spending on their card over Christmas.
