Credit card customers will be able to use the products to purchase BlackBerry apps in Australia.
BlackBerry users in Australia will now be able to purchase apps for their handset by using credit cards.
Consumers can visit the BlackBerry App World and buy one of the additions with a credit card or on PayPal after Research In Motion gave the move the green light.
Moreover, there are a variety of free products available, but others start from US$0.99 (AU$1.12) which is then converted to the local currency.
In addition, customers will be given a BlackBerry ID which will allow them to make
Aussie credit card payments and convert their apps over to a new smartphone from the company.
To find similar apps to ones they are looking for, individuals can scan in a QR barcode associated with the function, which will open up its download page.
Earlier this month, the Commonwealth Bank unveiled a new Apple iPhone app that is able to calculate estimated home loan repayments.
