A church in Penrith is offering a free course to help those with financial issues.
Trying to live off Aussie credit could be a problem for some, but one church is putting on a course to help people through financial difficulty.
The C3 Church in Penrith is issuing free help to those having troubles with their
credit cards or paying off bills, the Penrith City Star reports.
Pastor Dave Barter of Christians Against Poverty said that having more money is not always a suitable option of dealing with financial problems.
He noted that the course teaches people how to live off cash rather than be in debt and ways in which they can start saving, although this was difficult for some.
"You could be paying off a credit card with another credit card. We've had people come to us close to bankruptcy debt collection agencies coming after them," he added.
Last month, Bina Brown, writing for the Sydney Morning Herald, declared the majority of people relying heavily on Aussie credit because they spend more than they earn.
