Netbank is now available on the Apple iPad.
People with a recently released Apple iPad can now download an application that will allow a person to add a
bank account if they are a Commonwealth Bank customer.
Consumers will be able to use the organisation's online banking channel - NetBank to transfer money to bank accounts and read secure messages.
And there will be further changes from July as all
credit card transactions will be posted in real-time.
Drew Unsworth, general manager of online banking at the organisation which offers the Commonwealth Gold card - said he is confident that the tool will be a positive online customer experience.
He added: "We are committed to continuously enhancing the online service experience for our customers and strive to make the most of new technology and the opportunities it offers for accessing banking services."
The institution recently released its Business Sales Indicator, which showed that retail sales had lifted "moderately" over April.
