Australians affected by the recent storms across Perth will have their credit card instalment payments reviewed if they have one with Commonwealth Bank.
Commonwealth Bank has announced it will review
credit card instalment payments for customers affected by the recent storms across Perth.
It will consider requests for emergency limit increases on its credit cards and also offer loan restructuring for business consumers.
Group Executive of retail banking services for the firm which offers the Commonwealth Platinum card - Ross McEwan said it is "concerned" about how the recent poor weather has affected local people and companies in the area.
He added: "We've put special arrangements in place for our customers and our staff are ready to assist them promptly with their financial concerns and enquiries."
Changes to how customers repay their loans could be brought in by the bank, as well as waiving branch service fees for customers who require help from the organisation because of the disaster.
Earlier this month, Westpac offered similar aid to its consumers affected by storms and flooding in Melbourne and parts of Victoria by allowing them an emergency
Aussie credit limit increase.
