A 24-year-old will appear in court in relation to a string of credit card fraud offences.
A man is due to appear in court on suspicion of
credit card fraud.
New South Wales Police reports the 24-year-old was arrested in Maroubra yesterday (March 17th) and has been charged with a variety of fraudulent offences.
Refused bail, he will now appear in Waverley Local Court on 11 counts of possessing false documents, four charges of possessing equipment with which to make false documents and one count of goods in custody.
His arrest and subsequent charge come after a search by police saw a Ferrari, computers, cash, encoding equipment and holograms capable of producing counterfeit
Aussie credit products seized.
The investigation is ongoing and officers are reminding anyone with information about credit card fraud or cybercrime to get in touch with their local police force.
News of the case came as Andrew Prieditis from Hamilton was recently given a six-month home detention sentence after carrying out a series of "intricate"
Australian banking frauds.
