BOQ Rockingham is providing special banking services to a team of sea rescuers, just as it provides a variety of options to Aussie credit card customers.
The Rockingham Volunteer Sea Rescue Group (RVSRG) is being provided with a custom selection of banking services as part of a support package from the Bank of Queensland (BOQ) Rockingham, it has emerged.
BOQ Rockingham is now among the organisations whose support allows the team to continue serving the local population, says group commander John Reilly.
Meanwhile, BOQ Rockingham branch manager Margaret Mary Pollock adds that the bank is thrilled to be able to offer $2,000 in sponsorship along with the financial services.
With this, she says, the sea rescue team can help to meet the expenditure required for its equipment and running costs.
She adds: "We're also happy to be able to offer RVSRG members special banking packages and look forward to building a working relationship with the selfless volunteers of this fantastic group."
BOQ's guidance for credit card customers notes that individual needs make different cards suitable for different people - which could range from options with no
annual fee to those with low
interest rates or balance transfer offers.
These include options such as the Blue No Annual Fee Visa Credit Card, which is free to hold with the compromise of accruing interest on new purchases from the day they are made.
