Although many Aussies may be struggling with getting to grips with various monetary commitments, one person has revealed how she has kept a tight financial ship.
In a comment posted on News.com.au, a reader named Lolita points out that she never makes any rash decisions when it comes to money, claiming that she only makes a purchase when she know that she will able to afford it.
And although she reveals that she does not use cash on a day-to-day basis, instead choosing to use
credit cards, such financial commitments are always cleared off in full before the payment deadline.
Lolita points out: "Credit debt is one thing I have always avoided apart from the mortgage."
Continuing, she indicates that many people may currently be struggling with money as they found credit far too easy to access in the past but lent little thought to how they could afford it.
A recent Citi Fin-Q study revealed that half of women questioned are currently paying off their credit cards in full every month, a rise from the 34 per cent who were able to do this in 2007.
