A report has revealed that many Aussie households are worried about another interest rate rise.
Nearly half of Aussie households are worried about possible interest rate rises, according to one survey.
A report by Dun & Bradstreet revealed 49 per cent of 1,205 adults across the country believe another rise by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) would negatively affect their family finances, the Australian Associated Press reports.
The Aussie credit expectations study also noted that 55 per cent of those with children said they would be badly affected financially, compared to 43 per cent of households without kids.
Nearly half of under 50-year-olds responding to the survey - which was carried out in June - stated their intentions to use credit to pay for expenses during the September quarter.
The RBA - which maintained its official cash rate at 4.5 per cent earlier this month - recently revealed that the average
credit card balance for May was up five per cent in 12 months.
