The TV presenter said that opening a savings account is the best financial move she has made.
Aussies in search of tips for saving might like to take advice from TV presenter Fenella Kernebone, who has admitted that opening a savings account, which could include products such as More Generous Banking Savings Accounts, is one of the best decisions she ever made.
Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, the radio host explained this meant she was unable to reach her savings easily, meaning that she budgeted better, noting that "recent lifestyle changes" had caused her to manage her cash more carefully.
Moreover, she said that her best financial tip was for investors to do their research carefully, which could mean shopping around to compare accounts.
"Always get advice - simple as that. Every time you're considering an investment of any kind ... get advice," Kernebone stated.
The star, who is the frontwoman of ABC TV's weekly half-hour show Art Nation, went on to say that she found
credit cards helpful as long as she was able to make the repayments regularly.
