Term deposit charges will be waived on a case-by-case basis- for Bank of Queensland customers who have been affected by cyclone Ului.
Bank of Queensland (BOQ) is set to waiver charges on term deposits for some customers put out by tropical cyclone Ului.
Queenslanders will therefore be able to break it without having to pay any fees after a case-by-case assessment.
The bank which offers a range of credit cards has said Australians affected will be able to defer equipment finance repayments for up to three months if it is required.
David Liddy, BOQ managing director, said it understands how the cyclone will harm the local community.
He added: "As Queensland's bank, we really want to help residents in the Whitsunday Coast region affected by the disaster to get back on their feet as quickly as possible."
Commonwealth Bank recently announced it will review credit card instalment payments for people harmed by storms in Perth.
